Let your inner child out to play!
Today I’ve been having a little clear out (you know a job that should take an hour but you find things from your past and can’t help having a trip down memory lane). Well today, I found my very first vision board. I couldn’t stop looking at it! It brought a tear to my eye. Even more so as everything on it has come true!
Any one that knows me, knows I’m a true advocate of vision boards. I had so much fun creating mine and it definitely helped me stay on track when I had a wobble in the early stages. If you’re serious about changing your life and haven’t created your own vision board… I definitely recommend you do.
Take this time to reflect on your successes and even allow yourself to daydream about what you want for your future. Find some images that represent your new picture of how you would LOVE your life to be.
Where would you go on holiday?
How you would spend your days?
Perhaps you’d start the charity you’ve always dreamt of?
Or go on that adventure you’ve been desperate to go on?
Write that book that is still inside of you?
Why not buy a canvass from your local art shop… get some spray glue and scissors and GET STUCK IN! Create a beautiful vision board to be proud of… anything you see that catches your eye and makes you feel good cut it out and stick it down! Even if it doesn’t particularly make sense at the time. When I did my first vision board I cut out a sold sign next to a property – not understanding why as I did not even own my own home. It resonated with me so I cut it out and stuck it on my board. Well who would have known that I would have gone on to buy and sell hundreds of homes? Our logic mind does not know but your intuition does… so go play and have fun!
My advice… if you have a good emotion towards it… keep it! Make sure you look at your vision board every day to really take it in and remind yourself WHERE YOU’RE GOING!
I’m off to the art and craft shop to get some bits and pieces to get started on my next vision board! Watch this space…
I’d love to see your vision boards too so please feel free to share them on the Facebook page!
Live the life you love
